Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is a reviewer who tackles Z-grade film usually within the martial arts or horror genre. The style is similar to The Cinema Snob but tending towards action-oriented dumb films and some morbid pleasure from the genre. Her first review was in late 2009 after becoming popular in their forum. (Under her former handle Obscurus Lupa) Then she was asked to join the Channel Awesome team. In early 2015, she joined the channel as Obscurus Lupa Presents changed into Movie Nights. Presently, she hosts two podcasts. One that covers the Charmed franchise and the other co-hosted alongside Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme.
